Safety Considerations
We put safety at the forefront of every trip and activity we offer. Strict emergency procedures are put in place to ensure that you are protected during the duration of our tour. Our tours are led by certified, professional guides. All have first aid, CPR certifications, and wilderness training. We always carry GPS and devices that allow us to ensure our participants and guides a comprehensive risk management policy.
Our goal is to work with you when life presents us with scheduling challenges, to ensure your best experience and the convenience of other participants we have designed the following set of guidelines. Weather is a huge part of our business and can make or break a trip. We care very much about our clients safety. See section below for our weather policy.
Below we have provided an average of highs and lows in the area but keep in mind temperatures have gotten as warm as 94 degrees F in the warmest summers and dropped below 20 degrees F in the coldest winter months.
Our guides will provide you with a weather update 72 hours before your trip and then again the night before. Our goal is to make sure you are entirely prepared for whatever Mother Nature may bring! We reserve the option to cancel a trip due to weather 24 hours before yoru trip/hike with a full refund.
